LS travel retail North America is proud to announce that the company has won two Airport Revenue News Awards, both for the digital lifestyle concept iStore.
Awarded during the 2013 ARN Revenue Conference & Exhibition held in Las Vegas last week, the two prizes are for Best New Specialty Retail Concept (iStore), and Best Retail Store Design (iStore in Toronto Pearson Terminal 1).
Since partnering with the Montreal-based iStore Boutique in 2011, LS travel retail has opened close to a dozen locations across North American Airports, including two in Toronto Pearson, two in Vancouver, one in Boston and one in Indianapolis. Additional stores are coming up in the new LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal, Dallas Fort Worth and JFK International Airports.
“The iStore team is sincerely honored to have been recognized by these two prestigious industry awards. They are a further validation of the appeal of our unique concept and the power of our strategic relationship with LS travel retail. We look forward to substantial growth together in the near future”, said Mike Battat, President of iStore.
Created ten years ago, the ARN awards are one of the industry’s most prestigious prizes, recognizing both airports and retailers in categories such as retail concept, store design and customer service.
“We are truly honored”, said Vadim Motlik, Chief Development Officer at LS travel retail North America. “iStore is a unique concept that combines fashion, mobility and technology. It is one of the most sought-after concepts on the market and we are glad it is being recognized by our industry peers. We would like to take this opportunity to also congratulate our Airport Partners Toronto Pearson, Dallas Fort Worth, New York JFK and Indianapolis International Airports, on their respective Awards”.
